Tanya Penney

Tanya Penney is the Executive Director for the Central Zone and the Provincial Lead for Urgent and Emergent Virtual Care at Nova Scotia Health. A registered nurse with a background in Emergency Department care, Tanya has held a variety of leadership roles within both the Nova Scotia Health Authority and the provincial government. In her current role, Tanya is focused on improving access to urgent and emergency care across the province. She is part of the Central Zone leadership team, with operational oversight of tertiary, regional, and rural emergency departments. With a rapidly evolving health human resources landscape and advancements in technology, Tanya is leading efforts to strengthen emergency care through innovative, resilient models that improve access and patient outcomes.

Brynne Eaton-Auva'a

Brynne is the Managing Director of Think Research’s Healthcare Software Business Line.  In her current role, Brynne spearheads initiatives aimed at improving healthcare access and patient safety for Think Research clients.  Brynne, alongside the teams she leads, is focused on supporting key healthcare clients, government stakeholders, and partners. Before joining Think, Brynne's work in the USA, New Zealand, and the South Pacific focused on strategic partnerships and implementations.  Brynne, a recognized Emerging Leader in Healthcare by The Peak in 2022, was a featured speaker at Monterey Bay’s TEDx Conference. She is passionate about solutions that enhance patient care, streamline processes, and improve outcomes within the healthcare industry.
