Health Canada Briefing: Overview of Bill S-5, the Connected Care for Canadians Act

Bill S-5, the Connected Care for Canadians Act, aims to improve the secure and timely exchange of health information across Canada’s health system. The legislation would require health IT vendors to adopt common technical and data standards and prohibit practices that block the secure flow of health information.
