Digital Health Canada invites you to join this transformative webinar on November 20th, led by Zen Tharani, with expert panelists Gina Uppal and Steph Rebello who have helped digital health leaders incorporate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles in their everyday work and make them foundational to every stage of their projects.

In the face of ongoing debates and the erosion of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) as a fundamental aspect of healthcare, this webinar addresses why DEI is critical in digital health and provides actionable steps for embedding DEI principles in everyday practice.

About the Webinar: This session will introduce a dynamic Digital Health Equity Framework, guiding participants through strategies to build inclusive digital health programs, adopt community co-design practices, and achieve health equity outcomes. We will draw inspiration from impactful case studies that show how organizations like Kids Help Phone and Essentia Health have applied DEI practices to improve service accessibility, build community trust, and close the digital divide.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Tools for planning, testing, and integrating DEI in digital health workflows.
  • Insights from case studies on empowering patients, fostering public trust, and improving digital literacy.
  • A framework for ongoing reflection and allyship to sustain DEI efforts.

Whether you are a healthcare professional, project manager, or digital health innovator, this session will equip you with the skills and knowledge to create inclusive, equitable digital solutions that resonate with diverse communities. Join us to learn, reflect, and take actionable steps toward meaningful inclusion!
